News from the Willow

It has been a hot and humid summer here so far, with lots of rain and storms to boot. It makes for lots of time to spend indoors painting! I am taking some time off from my normal Tuesday evening seminars for the summer. The fall season will kick off again in full swing, with more Oasis offerings at multiple times, as well as Hobby Lobby sessions on Wednesdays. I will have updated photos for you to see what we will be painting at all of these seminars. I am also scheduling a November studio seminar of pet portraits, as well as the already scheduled August portrait seminar here. Stay cool, and I look forward to many wonderful hours of painting together! Linda

Linda Stobbs

an award winning artist, moved with her family from Canada to Indiana in 1993. Prior to this, she had never picked up a paint brush. After just a few classes with a kind and patient teacher, her talent was revealed. Linda's realistic and luminous style is apparent in her work and is endeared by many. Linda paints and teaches from her country studio outside of the historic village of Pendleton, IN as well as around the country. Commission work is always a joy!! "It is never too late to find the artistic talent which is locked inside you. You just need to find someone with the key."
